About Otelo

Otelo is not just a Telecommunications Provider to our customers, but a “Friend” who understands the need and importance of efficient and affordable telecommunication services. Otelo Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Otelo) was incorporated in 1997. We are a leading provider of discounted calls services, broadband IP calls services, IDD calling cards and innovative solutions redefining how communications services are consumed. In 2006, we received venture capital funding via our holding company, Primarak Holdings Sdn Bhd.

The investment comes from Photonics Venture Capital (a venture capital management company appointed by the Malaysian Venture Capital Management Bhd (“MavCap”) in December 2006). MavCap is the venture capital investment arm of the Finance Ministry (Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia).

In a global world, whereby profit margins are dwindling due to intense competitions, optimization of expenses is very important. It has a direct impact on the bottom line of every company. Otelo working together with our technology arm, Voicehub Communications Sdn Bhd, strives to provide innovative solutions by redefining how communications services are consumed, and ensuring that expenses are reduced to a minimum.
